The page publishes photos, names and news of some of the survivors and participates in solidarity vigils in northern Syria and several European cities. The page published a research paper, in collaboration with a group of Syrian civil organizations, containing the guidelines for the participation of victims in the International Mechanism for Missing Persons in Syria, which emphasizes that the right to participate in revealing their fate is one of the aspects of justice for victims, and an incentive to rehabilitate and empower them in society.

The Amal Recovery and Advocacy Center (AHAC) is a women-led organization that specializes in empowering women, who suffer from psychological symptoms resulting from social and sexual violence within the family or community. The organization seeks to contribute to bringing about a change in the status of women in Syrian society and support them in increasing their awareness of their rights and opportunities. The motive behind the establishment of the organization was the desire to contribute to building a Syrian society based on just and equal human rights and based on an independent civil state.

Amal Recovery and Advocacy Center (AHAC) documents cases of arbitrary arrests, as well as cases of kidnapping and enforced disappearance in Syria. The center provides legal documentation services for survivors and submits these cases to the concerned authorities to follow up on medical documentation procedures. It organizes dialogue sessions on transitional justice with survivors of detention and conducts advocacy campaigns such as “Listen to Us”, a human rights advocacy campaign led by survivors that aims to raise their voice to the international community. The center also contributed to the campaign “We are your voice”, which called to reveal the fate of all detainees. Between 2019 and 2021, AHAC collaborated with the International Committee for Detainees in the legal support project for families of missing persons, by providing legal advice and lectures to raise legal awareness.

Amargie works on supporting its member-artists (including the detention survivors) in terms of communicating their works to a larges audience – online and face to face – and issuing statements condemning the arrest of artists, and what follows of psychological, physical and moral intimidation.
